Purse from a Vintage Pillowcase

I made this purse over the Thanksgiving weekend.  It's from a vintage pillowcase that I picked up at an estate sale for $1.  I love the diagonal plaid lines and the bold colors in this print. 

 

I put this charming fabric flower on the purse with a safety pin, so it can be removed for washing or if you want to wear it with another purse or outfit.  It's the same fabric flower I used for the vintage bib I made here.

 

This bag is fully lined with natural colored muslin fabric.
