We're in the home-buying process, and I've started cleaning out drawers/cabinets/closets at night. Last night I found many wine and champagne corks in the back of a drawer, and thought I could certainly use them for something.
I glued some magnets on the back, and voila! Instant classiness on the refrigerator. It adds a sophisticated look to the line drawings by my 2-year-old.
I think I will package them in a metal tin like this. Maybe six to a set? I'm going to try and get to the Dollar Tree this week to stock up on metal tins. I made 18 wine cork and 4 champagne magnets in less than one hour from start to finish!
The champagne ones are my favorite, because they're all so different. And yes, that's a picture of me and the love of my life on our anniversary. 
Very cute!! The one with the footprint would be cute instead of cigars for a new baby. You could print the name and date on it too. The only "problem" would be getting all the corks! LOL
