I saw the idea for
this Felt Rose Wreath here, and thought it would be a great way to use the wreath I recently grabbed at the Dollar Tree. It was really easy to do, and I varied the size of the roses a little by cutting different size circles. For my templates, I used a CD, a saucer, and a teacup to get three different size circles. Then, I spiraled them as instructed in the tutorial and put them on the wreath. The hardest part was not burning myself with the hot glue gun- something I am notorious for!
I ran out of felt before I was complete, but I kinda like the "incomplete" look. What do you think?
I'm thinking of hanging this on my little girl's door once we move into our new home. I think hanging her initial in the middle would be a nice touch.
My friend Alisha makes letters like these and I may just have to order one for Baby Girl!
