Firecracker Dress

The Bandana Dress is nothing new to the crafting world.  One Google search and you'll have a million tutorials or variations of making a dress or shirt from bandanas.  I had this idea on my "to-make" list for months, but just hadn't had the right inspiration. 

Until I went to Wal-Mart, where they change the bandana section based on seasons.  And, they are only $1.00, compared to $1.79 at Jo-Ann's.  I found this patriotic one around the 4th of July, and bought two to make a dress for my daughter.

The best part?  It's a little long on her now, so she can wear it next summer, and maybe even the next. 

Another best part?  It only took 30 minutes to make!
