Bandana Bib

I guess I'm on a bandana kick these days, because this bib emerged from my sewing room last week!  I love cutting up old jeans and repurposing them for new uses.  These jeans were some of my maternity clothes that just never fit right.  I thought of consigning them, but then decided it would be more fun to cut them up.  The red fabric was from my Granny's stash, which she generously lets me raid each time I make a visit.

A velcro closure.  I really want to do snaps, but haven't been able to master it yet.  My cousin-in-law, Dalila, has given me some tips on punching snaps into denim, so I need to attempt it again.

I purposefully allowed the inseam to be on the bib.  I think it adds character.

The back, or the front.  It's reversible!

  1. I love it that you re cycled old jeans. Denim is such a strong fabric, it shouldn't be thrown away. you go girl!
