I made a birthday gift for my husband's grandmother, Mimi, tonight-- a set of two fabric boxes and two hanging dishtowels.
These fabric boxes are a quick and easy project and an easy way to use up scraps.
This is one of those projects that I always enjoy making- it's quick, easy and I can usually make it from what's already in my stash! I just love projects like that, don't you?
Happy Bithday, Mimi!
I have made a few of those fabric boxes too. so easy! Also, I bought some flour sack towels and wondered what to do with them..now I do!=) I like the snap idea too.
ReplyDeleteShe is going to love these!!! See you tonight for the birthday girl's dinner!!!!
ReplyDeleteI love working with flour sacks. They are absorbent, but not bulky. They also do not have to be ironed (something I HATE to do!). Let me know how yours turn out, Suzee!
ReplyDeleteThese are precious! For the gal who's got everything!
ReplyDeleteThanks! She loved them!!!
