PaperbackSwap - How to Get Sewing and Craft Books for Free

Trade Books for Free - PaperBack Swap.

For years, I've been using PaperBackSwap for growing my sewing library.  Over time, I've been able to request many new sewing books and swap those which I didn't need or care for.  It's been a blessing to my budget and given me a chance to learn new skills.

I've also received and swapped books on religion, parenting, nursing and speech delays.  And, I've requested countless books that I've given to my children.

To start an account, you need to list ten books.  Once you do, you'll be given one credit to request a book from another member.  You never pay to receive books, only to ship books to other members (within the USA).  Shipping is very reasonable since you can send books via USPS Media Mail.

The name can be misleading as PaperBackSwap accepts hardback books, audio books, and paperback books.  They have a growing collection of all sorts of genres.

My current stats are this:
  • 150 books received
  • 158 books mailed
  • $313.50 saved
How awesome is that!?!?!

So, you really have nothing to lose.... except ten books that you probably don't need anyways.  Start building your sewing and craft library today.

Tomorrow I'll share my favorite sewing books, and some that are on my "Wish List" as well.
